2 Project Liberty Ship Bull & Oyster Roast

Proponents of Project Liberty Ship can enjoy eating oysters while helping support the preservation of Baltimore's World War II Liberty Ship, The John W. Brown.  While the Bull and Oyster Roast is off-site, the food says "maritime" with oysters prepared at least four different ways along with other appealing menu items. Compete in a 100-meter race (0.10K) at Fager’s Island. The race course features a refueling station at the halfway point (0.05K) where runners rehydrate with a Pearl Necklace oyster shooter. Admission includes Sprint Entry Fee, All you can eat BBQ Chicken, Ribs & fixins, Local Oysters on the half shell, All you can drink Flying Dog Beers, live music, Silent Auction, Oyster Eating Competition!

6 Horn Point Lab's Oyster Hatchery Open House - Cambridge

The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science at Horn Point Laboratory opens its doors to the public. Tour the state-of-the-art oyster hatchery; discover research underway in the Chesapeake Bay, in the U.S., and across the globe. Fun activities for kids and best of all, it’s free.
