This is located at the city dock and is reportedly the place where Kunta Kinte was led off of his slave ship 200+ years ago. Very well done and is one of numerous plaques in the area

We were surprised to come across this memorial not knowing that Kunta Kinte's roots (mo pun intended!) in America traced back to Annapolis. The statue and plaque is set back from the harbour and...

There are several statues and plaques in this area that are interesting. There are also a number of benches in a shaded area making it a nice place to take a rest while touring the historic section.
