Can you hear the song of mandolins, banjos and bass echoing through mountains? That can only mean DelFest – The Home of Bluegrass – and the start of Maryland’s ‘Summer of Music.’ From DelFest , through Sunfest in Ocean City, the summer of 2019 brings a wall of sound and a symphony of styles to the Free State.

Whether you want to groove to the sultry sounds of the Capital Jazz Festival in Columbia; shred to the metal madness of Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore and Doom Fest in Frederick; or let your freak flag fly all over the dancefloor at Moonrise Festival in Baltimore, Maryland’s Summer of Music has a home for your sound and your scene. Check out these rocking events, plus more of the Summer of Music at our great restaurants with live music, wineries, outdoor music venues and more, because this summer, Maryland means music.

In order to more fully enjoy your concert-going experience, explore the variety of hotel package deals that have been coordinated by Visit Maryland and our event partners especially for the Summer of Music.

Share your music experiences with us on social media using #MarylandMusic, and make sure to check out Maryland's Summer of Music lineup. To scope out all the rockin' events across Maryland during the Summer of Music, see the Calendar of Events
