Could be a better course with better maintenance

The layout is great but the course requires better maintenance. The greens are a bit slow. The clubhouse staff is par excellence and make up for a few shortcomings on the course.

Friendly public course

Well run public golf course with carefully maintained links. There are not many good nine-hole courses in the county so the Inside 9 course is a good walk.

above average for a county course

Laytonsville was an above average Montgomery county course.......Greens had been aerated 2 weeks before we played and they were still recovering......pace of play was good..no waiting...
