A definite landmark to see. The original Washington monument, the architecture is impressive. At no charge, you can even walk to the top on the spiral staircase inside the monument.

200+ steps take you to the top of the monument. It is narrow, so if you don't like small spaces, you may not enjoy this. The view at the top is wonderful!Nice attraction to visit.

We had a very enjoyable time walking around in this area of Baltimore. It was clean, no crowds, the flowers were beautiful, truely a picturesque atmosphere.
