Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse
Erected in 1875, this was one of the last manned lighthouses on the Chesapeake Bay and is one of the few surviving screwpile offshore lighthouses.  It is a national landmark best seen by boat.

Not sure why this is on here, i wouldn't go out of my way by boat to see this...U can actually drive down towards bayridge and see it from land. There's a area/neighborhood call Thomas Point, nice...

Visited around the lighthouse that was included on our boat tour of the Chesapeake Bay. Fantastic day; sun shining and calm seas. Our cruise lasted 3 hours.
