This site was established before the revolution, so much history to see. Close to C&O Canal walking path. Pleanty of space for kids to run around.

I am glad they restored this old fort. Alot of stones had to be carried and placed to make up the wall. The day we visited a group of school children were there. There were re-enactments going on and...

We stopped here on a bike tour and really enjoyed the detailed explanation of the fort's history and what life was like as a frontier soldier. The fort is also fully restored. Worth a stop!
