The staff at the visitor center is very friendly and shows you on the map what you may see where. Unfortunately it was very windy and most of the wildlife was hunkered down.

Blackwater Wildlife Refuge is beautiful and about a couple miles drive. We saw a bald eagle flying and a bald eagle nest from an observation spot. There were about 70-80 swan. It has beautiful...

Lots of waterfowl. More eagles on my earlier visit, but a lovely park. Visited two days, first day nice, second day rain and cold. Much better the first day!
