This 34th Annual Turkey Trot event in Caroline County is a 2-mile walk, run, or jog for all ages from Denton Elementary School to Martinak State Park and back, includes free gifts to the first 100 registrants, and everyone is entered in the free turkey raffle.

Run, walk, or parade in costume (think turkeys, Pilgrims, Native American Indians, pumpkins) at the Annual Turkey Trot to benefit Project Echo at the ARC of Southern Maryland Community Resource Center. Register early to take advantage of the pre-reg perks.

Before the Feast, take a run along Pemberton Historical Park's nature trails. Weave through forests, meadows and wetlands on a mostly flat terrain with some small hills. Supports Pemberton Historical Parks' environmental education programs.

The Frederick Turkey Trot has become an annual Thanksgiving morning tradition in beautiful, historic downtown Frederick. For more than 15 years, Way Station has been hosting this event, bringing family, friends and local business together for a morning of fun, fellowship and exercise. It’s a great kick off to Thanksgiving Day and the holiday season.

Weave through the Bulle Rock Community and Bulle Rock Golf Course on paved roads and paths to help support the Susquehanna Hose Company's equipment fund. Awards will be given to the top three males and females as well as the youngest and oldest 5k participants. Long-sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by November 13, 2018.

Every Thanksgiving for the past 36 years, thousands of runners have gathered in Bethesda to run in the Turkey Chase in support of the YMCA’s Youth and Family Services, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club Foundation.
Those organizations help make it possible, through financial assistance and local grants, for thousands of children and families in the community to attend Y programs and receive services that keep them safe, engaged and feeling valued.

Take in the magnificent trails of Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in Lothian after all that turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. All proceeds from the race go to Recreation Deeds for Special Needs and is part of Anne Arundel County's Move More race series which is designed to get Marylanders more active.

Work off those extra calories at one of the most popular club races in Montgomery County, the Turkey Burnoff at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg. The course is scenic and you’ll burn off that third helping of pumpkin pie on the gently rolling hills.
