A family-owned, lavender farm located at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain growing a variety of lavenders that are distilled into essential oil, which is used in handmade, luxury bath products.
Plan a visit from June – July, or September – November.

Deep Creek Lavender Farm is situated in the Allegheny Mountains of Western Maryland near Wisp and Deep Creek Lake. The farm has more than 1500 lavender plants including15 different varieties of English lavender in shades of purple and white. Check out the farm shop for a great selection of lavender products. Visitors can pick their own bouquet of lavender during bloom season (usually mid-June and July). The farm is open Memorial Day through Labor Day-- Saturday, Sundays and Mondays.

With the Catoctin Mountain as a backdrop, the lavender field at Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery is spectacular featuring more than 2,500 lavender plants of numerous varieties. Cut your own fresh flowers, pick up potted plants for your home and garden or enjoy the lavender products from the market stand. English lavender has it's peak first bloom in early June. French lavender generally peaks in August. Both varieties bloom a second time in September.

Purple Rain Lavender Farm is a family owned farm just outside of Bel Air nestled close to the Susquehanna River and near Havre De Grace. The Chesapeake Bay presents a unique micro-climate for farms in Harford County making growing of many lavender varieties challenging. They grow both internedias and augifolias and are continually trying new varieties of lavender in our area.
