The Festival Latino de Maryland is a family-oriented event that celebrates the diversity of Hispanic/Latino culture in our state and honors the common threads that bind together all members of the community in a shared sense of destiny and optimism.
Featuring a full day of music, food, and fun activities for all, the festival also offers opportunities for the community to connect to information from state and county agencies and local businesses, such as health and wellness resources and job opportunities.
Tianquiztli is a vibrant outdoor artisan market that brings together the local community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Join us outside Creative Alliance as we showcase the flavors, art, music, and traditions cherished in Baltimore and passed down through generations. This event pays tribute to “The Three Sisters,” an indigenous farming technique that symbolizes strength, prosperity, and nourishment through the cultivation of beans, corn, and squash. Enjoy live performances, browse diverse vendors, take part in traditional activities, and much more!
The AFI Latin American Film Festival is one of North America's largest and longest-running showcases of Latin American cinema. The Festival is one of Washington's top cultural events and features award-winning films, in-person conversations with filmmaker guests and exciting Embassy-hosted parties.

Centro Hispano de Frederick's Hispanic Festival will transform Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick into a celebration of Hispanic art, culture, and music. There will be live dancing, music, traditional costumes, great food, and kids art projects.
Enjoy a one-hour guided tour of Riversdale House Museum in Spanish as we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month! Join us as we interpret the history of the people who lived and worked on this former plantation, from the construction of the house in 1801 to Emancipation in 1864. Visitors will enjoy a facilitated dialogue with tour guides as they are guided through the rooms of the historic house and dependency building.
