The Wye Grist Mill has been hard at work since 1682 and continues producing grain to this day. With its beautiful water wheel and massive grinding stones, the mill is still converting the bounty of its nearby Eastern Shore farms into flour, so make sure to take a bag home from this mill that supplied flour to General George Washington’s Revolutionary War army.
