1 Turkey Trot for Project Echo

Run, walk, or parade in costume (think turkeys, Pilgrims, Native American Indians, pumpkins) at the  Annual Turkey Trot to benefit Project Echo at the ARC of Southern Maryland Community Resource Center. Register early to take advantage of the pre-reg perks.

3 Y Turkey Trot Charity 5k

Help raise funds for the YMCA with this Thanksgiving Turkey Trot in either Arnold, Baltimore, Bel Air, Ellicott City, Towson, or Westminster, Perry Hall.  $17.50-$35 with registration by 11/19.

Before the Feast, take a run along Pemberton Historical Park's nature trails.  Weave through forests, meadows and wetlands on a mostly flat terrain with some small hills. Supports Pemberton Historical Parks' environmental education programs.

6 Hagerstown Community College Turkey Trot

Presented by Hagerstown Community College Athletic Teams, the proceeds from this event directly benefit student athletes and scholarships.  Registration includes a free t-shirt, stock water stations, cash & prizes, 5K custom awards for each age group winner, entertainment, a food/toy drive, and much more.

8 Annual Bethesda Turkey Chase Charity Run

No. 23, 2017

Every Thanksgiving for the past 34 years, thousands of runners have gathered in Bethesda to run in the Turkey Chase in support of the YMCA’s Youth and Family Services, YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club Foundation.

And, each year the YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase and the BCC Rotary Foundation, through the Turkey Chase, make it possible through financial assistance and local grants for thousands of children and families in the community to attend Y programs and receive services from local non-profits that keep them safe, engaged and valued.

9 Jug Bay Post Turkey Trail 5k

Take in the magnificant trails of Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in Lothian after all that turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes.  All proceeds from the race go to Recreation Deeds for Special Needs and is part of Anne Arundel County's Move More race series which is designed to get Marylands more active.
