Right near Ego Alley is the Kunta Kinte - Alex Haley Memorial with statues of young children at his feet. It is an excellent teaching tool for parents with children.

While you are downtown Annapolis keep a look out for the Kunta Kinte Memorial. It is worth spending a few moments here. They did a fantastic job on this memorial.

A small but meaningful memorial commemorating Alex Haley and his character Kunta Kinte. Annapolis was one of the largest slave ports and that has largely been left out of the tours. Not a huge...
