Not exactly a destination. Interesting if passing by. Statue catches the eye but make time to read the plaques along the walk. Really bring to mind images from Roots.

It is at the wharf, in a corner. Not much to say about it accept perhaps a place to seat, if the seawall is filled.

If you are walking through downtown Annapolis, make a stop at the Kunta Kinte - Alex Haley Memorial which honors the author of "Roots" and remembers those who were brought to this nation in bondage.
