We hadn’t been for years and were eager to see wildlife. Unfortunately, we saw just 2 herons. Visitor center offers good information and exhibits. Gift shop is nice too. Will go again.

The day we visited it was pouring rain and most of the Wildlife Drive was closed due to the opening day of deer season and the refuge being opened to hunting. The visitor's center has quite a bit to...
