America's oldest privately owned ferry, established 1683. Crosses scenic Tred Avon River between Oxford and St. Michaels area. Ferry carries nine cars, motorcycles, bicycles, passengers. Two locations for boarding: Oxford and Bellevue, MD (5536 Bellevue Rd).
April-Oct: 9am-sunset daily; Nov: Sat-Sun only.

Took the ferry to Bellevue to give us an opportunity to do some sightseeing in St. Micheal's. We took our vehicle over one-way & had a nice drive back to Oxford while staying at Sandaway Beach B&B.

We had a great ride to Oxford and back. We would do it again if we return to the St. Michaels area. It comes about every 20 minutes.
