If you are a history bluff, it usually stop at historical markers anyway. Envision going back those many years as a young uneducated slave woman who made her mark in history.

Seeing the marker, and then going to the Harriet Tubman Museum were both excellent experiences. Go check out the museum also.

It’s just out in the middle of nowhere. You can hardly believe how horrible it must have been to be forced to work in the hot and humid and buggy conditions of this area.
