Getting to the event:
Buses will depart from the following hotels at 5:30 p.m. If you are delayed for any reason, please arrive at one of the participating hotels as soon as possible and a Maryland Welcomes the World at National Harbor transportation ambassador will assist you.
- Capital Hilton, 1001 16th Street, NW - K Street Entrance
- Washington Marriott Marquis, 901 Massachusetts Avenue, NW - L Street Entrance
- Renaissance Downtown, 999 Ninth Street, NW - K Street Entrance
- Westin City Center, 1400 M Street, NW - M Street Entrance
- Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW - T Street Entrance
- Marriott Wardman Park, 2660 Woodley Road, NW - 24th Street Entrance
Returning from the event:
Shuttle buses will depart from the MGM National Harbor Theater entrance beginning at 10:00 p.m. Final departures after the KC and the Sunshine Band performance will depart from the MGM National Harbor Theater exit at 11:30 p.m. If you decide to enjoy the MGM National Harbor amenities after 11:30 p.m., you will be responsible for your own transportation back to your hotel.
Guests who choose to drive themselves to Maryland Welcomes the World at National Harbor at National Harbor should park at National Harbor’s Mariner Parking Garage, 164 Mariner Passage, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Check in desks will be located at the entrance to Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor and on the East Pier, directly across from the parking garage across Waterfront Street.

The current forecast is sunny with temperatures in the 80s. Please dress comfortably, bring your sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes. The theater at MGM National Harbor is air conditioned, so bring a wrap for the concert.
Maryland Welcomes the World at National Harbor will be held regardless of weather conditions. In the case of a passing rain storm, rain gear will be distributed to guests. If the forecast calls for heavy, long term rain, outdoor activities will be moved indoors at one of our participating partners’ locations and guests will be alerted via e-mail and at www.visitmaryland/mwtw.
