MD Fleet Week Airshow Baltimore Festival

Take a special tour of the vessels (through Monday Oct. 8 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM) and experience the life of a modern sailor! U.S., Canadian, and British Navy vessels along with U.S. Coast Guard and others are docked around the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Tide Point, and North Locust Point. View the locations of where each vessel is anchored throughout Baltimore.

Note: The Oak Hill at North Locust Point will be shutting down for tours at 4 pm on Monday in order to prepare for departure Tuesday.

 

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3


8am-3pm – U.S., Canadian and British Navy ships arrive throughout the day (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point)
5pm – Maryland Fleet Week Welcome Ceremony – Official public welcome of U.S. and International Navies to Baltimore, Maryland. Performances by U.S. Navy Bands and special presentations (Amphitheater, Inner Harbor)

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4 


Time TBD – Thunderbirds and Air Performers arrive (Martin State Airport)
1pm-6pm – U.S., Canadian and British Navy and Coast Guard vessels open for public touring (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point)
1pm-6pm – Fleet Week Shuttle to U.S. Navy Ships in Locust Point (leave from Inner Harbor Visitor Center)

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5


11am-6pm – Fleet Week Festival…Stroll amongst the ships and tour; enjoy food, family fun, interactive exhibits, souvenirs, music and more! (Inner Harbor)
1pm-6pm – U.S., Canadian and British Navy and Coast Guard vessels open for public touring (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point)
1pm-6pm – Fleet Week Shuttle to U.S. Navy Ships in Locust Point (leave from Inner Harbor Visitor Center)
5pm-8pm – “Meet the Fleet” Fleet Week Happy Hour – Grab a cold beverage, take a Selfie with a Sailor and enjoy music at the Fleet Week Festival (West Shore Park Inner Harbor)

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6


10am-5pm – Martin State Airport Open House and Free Festival – Watch U.S. and Canadian Navy and U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds along with more air performers take off! Get up-close to unique and contemporary aircraft displays and enjoy food, souvenirs, music and more at the Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum. (Martin State Airport)
11am-6pm – Fleet Week Festival…Stroll amongst the ships and tour; enjoy food, family fun, interactive exhibits, souvenirs, music and more! (Inner Harbor)
11am-5pm –  Fort McHenry Park Experience featuring special ranger talks, living history, food and entertainment (Fort McHenry)
1pm-4pm – Air Show Baltimore Performance (prime viewing at Fort McHenry and great viewing from other area locations)
1pm-6pm – U.S., Canadian and British Navy and Coast Guard vessels open for public touring (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point)
1pm-6pm – Fleet Week Shuttle to U.S. Navy Ships in Locust Point (leave from Inner Harbor Visitor Center)

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7


9am – Fleet Week 5K – New! Join more than 250 sailors for a 5K Run through the Inner Harbor. Registration fee. Benefits Historic Ships in Baltimore.  Use your feet to see the fleet!
10am-5pm – Martin State Airport Open House and Free Festival – Watch U.S. and Canadian Navy and U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds along with more air performers take off! 9am-12pm – "Navigate the Fleet" Education Day – Students embark on educational experiences throughout the Port of Baltimore with U.S., Canadian and British Navy Ships, U.S. Coast Guard vessels and Historic Ships in Baltimore.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9 


8am-12pm –  U.S., Canadian and British Navy and Coast Guard vessels depart (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Locust Point, Fort McHenry)
9am-12pm – Salute to Schooners – Schooners from the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race fire cannon salute toward Fort McHenry while students sing patriotic songs (Fort McHenry)
