Nature center with two-stories of hands-on exhibits, digital planetarium, children's discovery room, aquatic touch tank, live animal wall and outdoor nature place play area. The center is LEED platinum certified and its mile of nature trails provide river views and access to historic mill ruins.

It's a nice small park. . Well kept. They don't allow dogs so it's not a place we go to all the time. We've seen deer and foes.

This nature center offers great exhibits and walks. Paths lead through the wooded area down to the Middle Patuxent River. Bring a bag chair and book and enjoy the riverside setting.
