America's oldest privately owned ferry, established 1683. Crosses scenic Tred Avon River between Oxford and St. Michaels area. Ferry carries nine cars, motorcycles, bicycles, passengers. Two locations for boarding: Oxford and Bellevue, MD (5536 Bellevue Rd).

We took the ferry from St.Michaels to Oxford where we were staying. It's a small ferry I think maybe 6 cars at a time. Only takes a few minutes to cross.
