Come see the original Washington monument!!! The hike is easy and at the end of the trail, the view is rewarding!!! Definitely, go on a clear day to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Maryland!

Good hilly hiking and eye on local history on South mountain. Area north of frederick is chock full of broad Vistas and outdoor recreation.
