Furnace Town Landing Heritage Village
Description
Set in the Pocomoke Forest, the village is built around the Nassawango Iron Furnace which operated from 1830-1850. Artisans dressed in period clothing demonstrate and teach classes in our Folk School in broom making, blacksmithing, gardening, spinning, weaving and woodworking.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Beautiful setting in the woods. About 10 restored building representing a thriving town in the mid 1800s. Worth a couple of hours if you are in the area.
