We came here to ride the carousel. This is the only carousel owned by the National Park system. They actually have free tours of the carousel before it opens on weekends if you phone a few days...

Beautiful spot with lots of shade. The carousel,is excellent with long rides. Cafe in the park is clean but a bit pricey. Worth a visit with the children.

this is just so great- the carousel is cheap and you had long rides and the whole place reminds you of long lost days- beautiful art deco buildings magical
