This museum was small but it had a lot of interesting facts and history about African Americans in Baltimore Harbor area. The staff was friendly. The exhibits were very informative.

Did not nearly get the publicity it deserves. Truly extensive collection that details African American history (especially in Maryland) but ties it to national events of course. A must-see.

A very nicely done museum of black history in America. As a white guy, I learned a lot that I was never taught in school... It was fascinating, and certainly disturbing in many ways, but well done...
