The new outdoor Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink is in downtown Silver Spring at Veterans' Plaza, surrounded by great restaurant, shops, and plenty of parking. It is in a convenient location for the Washington DC Metro area. Parking is free after 8pm on weeknights and all day on weekends!
3 Skating at The Square (Rockville)
The ice rink is the largest outdoor ice skating rink between Baltimore and Washington DC. It is the largest in all of Montgomery County. The rink is 7,200 square feet.
4 Quiet Waters Park Ice Skating Rink
The Quiet Waters Park ice rink offers a pleasant and safe family environment to enjoy ice skating outdoors. Skates, helmets and walkers are available and we also sharpen skates on site. A party room is available for birthday parties and get-togethers. Park admission and fees apply except when noted otherwise.

6 Wisp Resort
The 50’ X 85’ oval Ice Rink operates by running cooling pipes under a floor that are powered by a 100 ton chiller to keep approximately two to three inches of water frozen. The Ice Skating Rink at Wisp will have the true ambiance of a winter wonderland with benches to rest on, twinkle lights hung, a bonfire area. It is the only Ice Rink in Garrett County.
7 Winterfest Ice Skating Rink
Imagine packing up your family and heading out to the neighborhood pond for a holiday skating party. Now, you can do that in Chesapeake City! A 40-ft by 32-ft synthetic ice rink is installed at Beck’s Landing on the banks of the C&D Canal and is open for public skating.
