Want a little Free State fancy in your wardrobe or on your wall? How about a little Maryland yummy in your tummy? This list of Maryland Made items has just what you’re looking for.

Old Line State Eats

Everyone knows that Marylanders love Old Bay Seasoning on everything—but there are plenty of other quintessential flavors of Maryland to enjoy. There’s nothing quite like a day spent on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, enjoying  Fisher's Popcorn and Thrasher's French Fries. And if you’re in Western Maryland, don’t miss out on the award-winning goat cheese at FireFly Farms.  Stop into the cheese company’s retail store in Accident for pairings and tastings! In Frederick, don’t miss a trip to McCutcheon's factory store for preserves, hot sauces and more.

For dessert, Maryland essentials include chocolates from Zoe's in Frederick, Bomboy's in Havre de Grace or  SPAGnVOLA in Gaithersburg. In local stores and markets, also keep an eye out for  caramels by Mouth Party and Goetze's and cookies from Berger's and Otterbein's

Delicious Drinks

Start your day off right with a cup of Maryland-brewed coffee—Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company, Zeke's and Rise Up are popular with the locals. Then check out one of our more than 85 thriving wineries —best enjoyed on one of our beloved wine trails. For brews and spirits, try HEAVY SEAS BREWERY in Halethorpe or Sagamore Spirit Distillery in Baltimore, both of which offer tours and tastings. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House in Baltimore is also not to be missed. It’s the only Guinness brewery in the United States and boasts a world-class facility that hosts tours, tastings and private events.

Art Everywhere

Be sure to visit the artists studios at Spruce Forest Artisan Village on the Historic National Road. This unique location features historic log cabins that serve as studios for working artists. While you’re there, check out a variety of events and hand-on workshops. Or head over to Deep Creek to visit the Simon Pearce Factory Outlet and Glassblowing Workshop. Observe glassblowers at work and then shop for your own one-of-a-kind piece of art. Additional Maryland-made art can be found on the Maryland Artist Registry and throughout the shops listed on the Made in Baltimore directory.

Divine Duds and Awesome Accessories

Maryland is the proud home of Under Armour whose mission is to make all athletes better through passion, design and the relentless pursuit of innovation. Check out the Brand Shop in Baltimore to shop for performance wear straight from the source. And no matter where you end up shopping around, you’ll likely run into fashions featuring the Maryland state flag—it’s all thanks to Route One Apparel which is carried by retailers around Maryland.
