Must be a secret This Japanese Steakhouse has the tastiest sushi in Southern Maryland and that includes the exclusive sushi restaurants in the vicinity. I must point out the, when it comes to creativity of the rolls the menu is a bit limited. However, the items they did offer were scrumptious. We wanted to sample as many rolls as possible so we ordered ten rolls. Hands down the yummiest was the Maryland Roll. If you like classics the Volcanoes was tasty and the spiciness was just right. The prices and sizes are fair for the area. The service was good despite being a Friday night with a packed house. The patrons who were enjoying the hibachi grill seem to enjoy themselves. The overall atmosphere was family oriented and conversation permeated the air so this is no place for a quiet dinner. However, if you find yourself in the “Park” and want some sushi I definitely recommend stopping by Asiha before settling for mediocre sushi elsewhere.
Kind of expensive, but food is soooo good!

This place has excellent sushi with a great Japanese grill experience, too. Fun for the family. It is a little expensive, but worth going. Plenty of room...we've never had to wait. Parking and access is convenient, which is sometimes saying a lot for this area.

On a business trip and went to lunch. We had the steak and shrimp prepared tableside, and the quality of the meat was fantastic. Everything was delicious--fried rice, soup, salad, etc. The cost for the steak and shrimp was very reasonable, at around $13.

If you got the money honey, go there and eat. It was soooooo good and they took pride in presentation of their food. But you know Japanese food means Japanese portion. If you want more you must pay. I went by myself and left with a $70 check....I did have 2 drinks too but ouch...
Best Japanese Steakhouse around!

Asahi is above and beyond the best Japanese Steakhouse I have ever been too (including Benihana, Sakura, Okada, and other smaller chains throughout the U.S.). The servers and chefs are quick, efficient, and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Substitutions are not a problem, and the food is great no matter if it's cooked on the grill or in the kitchen. Even at peak hours, you are seated and fed rapidly, and you get an enormous amount of food for the price you pay. Note that dinner prices are higher than lunch prices, and the food amount isn't much different. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!
