Trip Advisor Handled well
Feb 26, 2015 by: Peter D from
This hotel handles adversity well. They had a sprinkler system accidentally activated a few days before we got there. Didn't affect our block of rooms. As we are pulling into the driveway with the tour bus the hotel called me to inform me the elevators had gone out and it would be a couple of hours before being operational again. They offered to hand carry our bags and got us into the rooms. The rooms were very good. The breakfast was great and all in all even with the glitches it is a place I would not hesitate to return to with a group. Only one thing.... The manager still owes me a beer. :)

no real complaints. heating was loud. floor is wall to wall carpet, would prefer wood (you can tell if wood is dirty/clean).the dresser drawers were a little difficult to open and close. pool is outside, thus available only during warm months. i don't typically eat breakfast but took a peek out of curiosity, noticed waffle maker, eggs, potatoes, sausage, drinks. typical. that being said, this will be my hotel of choice when i am in town. already booked my next stay. while i am traveling for work (and leisure really too), i really just need a decent room with a clean bathroom, which is what you get here. note: i noticed at check-in the rate was slightly higher than it should have been ($1.50 higher). Girl at desk said it was for the safe. They dont mention this to you (which is typical, i have had it happen at other hotels). She said i could get the fee removed at check-out if i didnt use the safe. And when i checked-out, i got the fee removed.

Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Room very clean. Breakfast room well stocked and the staff friendly. Would definetely stay again. Next time we will return in Summer when the weather is not frigid so we can take advantage of the fitness room and the pool!!

Trip Advisor Noise
Feb 21, 2015 by: Peter S from Orange, United States
I have stayed at this hotel when added in night stays for at least 4 weeks in a year. In this time I have encountered noise every time. I stay for business and need my rest as I have to rise early to get to my place of employment and sleep is essential. This hotel is poorly made as when someone leaves a room the door slams, you can hear a tv from the next room and people talking and walking around. One might say get a higher level room and that would be true if this was not on the 7th floor the last level. I have decided unless Best Western makes this right they will lose my business and I will rate this hotel in my employer booking system the lowest I can because this Hotel as I said earlier appologises but does not fix the issue.

Trip Advisor Excellent value

I stayed with my family: 4 people in a guest room. So the double bed was comfortable, but small for 2 large people. There was plenty of room to add a rollaway, which was nice. The breakfast was great, I just wish they opened up before 6:30. The metro is just a short drive away, so that is a plus. The room was clean and the staff very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
