Easy check-in, quiet, good view. Any issues were handled quickly, my key lock wasn't working and maint. came right up to fix the problem. I had an animal and check in for the cat was quick with no issues and check out was a snap as well.

Trip Advisor Reasonable Rates and Excellent Breakfast Buffet
Apr 12, 2014 by: Howard N from Ocean View, DE, United States
I frequently am called to the Washington DC Metropolitan Area/Rockville MD for contract work with the Federal Government. The room rates are very reasonable for the area, and with my Platinum Best Western Rewards card I have no problem obtaining an upgrade to an available suite, or extending my reservation if necessary. The breakfast buffet usually features scrambled eggs, cooked to perfection, as well as potatoes and bacon/sausage, etc.. There is also a pair of waffle machines to make yourself a fresh waffle. I brought my family with me one visit, and the children and grandchildren fell in love with the waffle machine. We purchased each of the children's families a Wagner double waffle maker for their Christmas, and the children adorn their waffles with fresh strawberries, chocolate syrup and shipped cream. When the family accompanied me, we used the hotel free shuttle to the Metro System, to travel to the museums in Washington D.C..

Trip Advisor Great Plac To Stay
Apr 10, 2014 by: Wade M from Raleigh, NC
We had a great stay in this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean, warm, and inviting. Breakfast was well beyound wha we expected. The front desk always had a smile and hello for us whenever we passed them. The rooms were up to date...probably less than 1 year old. The beds were extremely comfortable. Public areas were very modern as well.....especially liked the elegance of the elevators.

We have used this hotel a number of times in the last 4 years and have always been very satisfied. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous. I recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. If you ever have any problems, the staff will do their best to correct it in a timely manner. Kudos

Trip Advisor Overall a good place to stay, minor HVAC problem
Apr 08, 2014 by: thirdshf from Connecticut
My wife and I spent three nights here in a king bed room at the beginning of April. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are spacious and well furnished, and the staff is friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to help guests. They serve a full hot breakfast buffet that is much better than the usual muffin and coffee fare at other hotels and stays open until 10 a.m. to accommodate retired slackers like us. Compared with many of the other similar hotels in the Rockville area, it is a bargain. The only problem I encountered was the climate control in the guest room. This building has an older HVAC system that can only deliver either heat or cold to guest rooms. The air conditioning had not been turned on for the season. Daytime temperatures inside were in the 60s and when we returned to the room at night it was very warm. You can open the windows and this did bring the temperature down to a comfortable sleeping level, but it also lets in traffic noise from nearby I-270. We managed to get a decent night's sleep anyway. We will be going back for two nights in early May and I hope somebody flips the air conditioning switch by then. Summer tends to come early in this part of the USA. Our room rate with a senior discount was $129 plus tax per night, the lowest rate we could find for this level of accommodations in the Rockville area.
