The hotel doesn't offer any special bells and whistles but it it clean and conveniently located to restaurants and government installations. They also offer a continental breakfast. If you are visiting NIH or any other government installation the Bethesda Court Hotel offers a discounted rate and shuttle service. If you are driving there is a $15 per day fee that I did not appreciate. And the parking lot is extremely small and tight for parking, I would definitely stay here again.

Trip Advisor Charming and Helpful

It's not often that hotel staff are as down-to-earth and as helpful as they were at this hotel this weekend. A few friends and I were staying here as part of a wedding party. My friends booked separately to me, and I know that they had excellent help when they called in with their complicated request. I booked online, but was in a rush between the church and reception and wanted to check in quickly. I called twenty minutes ahead as we were tearing through town to try to make it in time. When I walked in the door, Robert at the front desk readily handed me my parking pass and we were on our way. All of the staff were helpful and accommodating. The hotel room was clean, so comfortable, and charmingly decorated. It was a lovely experience.

Trip Advisor Great hotel, great location, great price

The hotel is in a great location for the local area for shops and restaurants, but also close enough to catch the metro into DC. good parking too, but you have to pay extra for that. The rooms were very good, all facilities and good wifi throughout. The air con was a little noisy. We did have a small problem one evening which was resolved quickly and without fuss from Robert III on reception. The breakfast are only had seating for about 8 people so we had to sit in the reception area. Thanks for a great comfortable stay. We would come again 8/10

Trip Advisor Surprising Boutique Hotel in Motel Clothing

The Bethesda Court Hotel bills itself as one of the city’s best-kept secrets, and it may be right. The BCH is located in a non-descript old motor hotel in downtown Bethesda. What makes it special, however, is that they have taken the old exterior and refinished the interior to a very high level and have excellent amenities to make up for the unremarkable. We stayed over a long weekend and got an excellent rate because of the low demand at the time. They give you Andes mints and water has you come in. There is a $15 charge for parking, which was very convenient. Our room was beautifully decorated and had all kinds of perks. In addition to wi-fi, we had a microwave, large-screen LCD TV, and refrigerator. The sheets etc. were obviously luxury linens. They have an included continental breakfast and a courtyard type area to enjoy it in. One odd note: we were there on a very hot day. They have old “Holiday Inn” type air conditioners in the rooms, which worked just fine, but as there is no central air the corridors were on the warm side. We didn’t spend much time in the hallways, so it wasn’t a big deal. The location is terrific. We were a 5-minute walk to the restaurant and shopping areas and close to the DC Metro Bethesda station. You might want to ask for a room on the north side, which overlooks the courtyard, rather than the south, which overlooks the parking lot. The Bethesda Court Hotel is a nice place to stay in Bethesda.
