Trip Advisor Nice hotel in a great location
Feb 28, 2015 by: Ann G from Brookline, Massachusetts
Overall this is a good hotel. The location is great. You are very close to restaurants and stores. The bed was comfortable and the room has nice features such as a refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig hot drink machine. The staff is friendly and you get water and chocolate when you check in. My only minor complaints are the breakfast isn't great, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Also the heating system is kind of noisy.

We travel to DC frequently to visit our daughter at American University. The Bethesda Court is 2 stops on the Red Line Metro from campus. It is a clean and cozy boutique hotel with the world's most pleasant and accommodating staff. Close (walking distance)to fun restaurants, grocery and drug stores. Comfy beds, good rates, breakfast too. Highly recommended.

Trip Advisor Great choice near Walter Reed Hospital

This place is awesome !!! Very clean and nicely furnished rooms. I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the rooms are. Staff is so accommodating to requests. Hotel is block and a half from METRO and close to many restaurants. They offer free shuttle service within 2 miles, which was awesome when visiting Walter Reed Hospital. Highly recommend this place!!! Will stay here again.

Trip Advisor Good option in Bethesda

Clean and friendly. If you are working out, bypass the tiny gym on the second floor and ask the front desk for access to a private fitness center located off of the mezzanine level. No extra charge and you don't even have to walk outside. It's new and has everything you will need. Also, at check-in every guest is given two bottles of water and several hand wipes. Nice touch.

Trip Advisor convenient, comfortable, quiet

The hotel is tucked on Wisconsin Avenue, it's easy to miss the entrance at first, but it's a middle range little gem. There is plenty of parking onsite ($15 a night) and it's walking distance from the metro station and many restaurants nearby, it's safe to walk around at night. The rooms are nice and clean, with decent size room and smallish bathroom - a bit more counter space here would not go amiss. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms offer fridge, microwave oven and Keurig coffee maker, that's so much better than the regular coffee makers that are usually found in hotel rooms. Breakfast is included, on offer are hard boiled eggs, cereals, bagels, pastries, bananas, apples, canned fruit, yogurt, juice. There is an outside patio with tables and chairs to enjoy breakfast or a lazy end of afternoon. The staff is mostly friendly. The elevator sounds a bit rusty and sometimes answers to calls with its own specific sense of priority, but it gets you where you want eventually. This is in short a convenient, price effective and quiet hotel for a stay in the DC area.
