Great Location - Outstanding Service

I recently arranged for a group reservation, in connection with a performance at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club across the street. The hotel has a great rate for those participating in or attending events at that venue. All of the staff, from the Front Desk Clerks to the hotel manager were very responsive and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well appointed. There were plenty of outlets for charging electronic devices. In addition to a desk in the room, they also provided a lap table to make it easier to work away from the desk. As I noted above, the hotel is very convenient to the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club, as well as the Bethesda Metro Station and literally hundreds of restaurants. The hotel has no real restaurant or bar, but they do provide breakfast in a small room off the lobby. If I had an occasion to stay in downtown Bethesda again I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
Average hotel, no charm

I chose this hotel based on the reviews but was disappointed when I came. Everything was pretty mediocre and it felt like a run-down, worn hotel. The room was clean but felt a little depressing, not very pleasant when you're on a short business trip. My room did not have a bathtub, and it had a strange curtain that acted as a closet with a full-size mirror that you would get from Target. Adequate and served the purpose of a bed to sleep on, just not very pleasant and the amenities were much to be desired.

I have stayed at many different hotels across the country and I have to say this was the cleanest place I have ever been. I loved having a nice sized refrigerator and microwave in the room plus a vending area and ice machine on our floor. There was no smoking and this was a real plus. many places say it and then people do it anyway. The gym was clean and the continental breakfast, although not hot, was just fine for a quick grab and go. Staff was so very friendly and helpful. Robert was my favorite! When our smoke detector started beeping because it needed a new battery maintenance was there in just a few minutes. When that didn't fix the issue they just brought a new detector. The noise level inside and outside was very low. Lots of things within walking distance. Only one negative, very small elevator...so we just used the stairs. All in all this was a great place to stay and did I mention it was very clean! lol We will certainly be staying there again when we visit the DC area!!!

11 of us traveled to visit the Catholic National Basilica in D.C. Each of us were delighted with Monica at this property. The rooms were clean & the beds were awesome. The continental breakfast was excellent.

My grandmother had to have emergency surgery, so this was a last minute trip. I booked Bethesda Court Hotel on Monday flew out that day and arrived in Maryland. From the minute I arrived they were gracious. They were able to provide a pick up service from the airport at 10:00 PM for a minimal charge (ask for Yahya, he was professional and kind). When I got to the hotel Robert knew my name, greeted me as though they have known me forever and made me feel right at home. Paula and Monica provided great customer service throughout the week that I was there. It was nice have such welcoming, friendly people around considering what I was going through during the day with my grandmother. The room was clean everyday and even when the carpets were being cleaned... didn't hear a thing. Everyone was polite, friendly and kind. I didn't eat at the free breakfast being that I was at the hospital every day, but I peeked in, they had a good selection of items and it looked good. No complaints from me. I recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
