Good value, nice and clean room.

This was a nice hotel, the room and bathroom was clean, the linen and floor carpet was clean. The passage was wide and had a nice carpet. WiFi was free and adequate. There is a refrigerator and mcirowave in the room along with a coffee maker. There is hot breakfast with the usual stuff. Make your waffles, yougurt, juices, fruits, bread, and all the other stuff. The sausage egg sandwich and egg wrap were refrigerated and had to be microwaved. The lobby is nice and large. There is a strip mall opposite with a Chinese Restaurant and grocery store. OVerall this is a nice clean hotel with good breakfast and good value. PS. I got this hotel using an online bid and so it was well worth the price.

Passing through on the way to DC. First thing was our smoke detector in the room kept chirping (like the battery was going dead). The manager "tried" to change it but broke it instead. He eventually called a maintenance man who told him how to remove it. He said there were no other available rooms, but I think he took another smoke detector from another room. Next issue read the "hot" tub. It wasn't hot. When the above said manager was told about it, said "just turned the heat on, should take about 15 minutes to warm up". After about an hour, the water was warm enough to get in. We sat down but we thought we were sitting next to the garbage dumpster. It was then we realized it was the water that smelled. It literally smelled like a cesspool. There were no chemicals in the water, and our suits smelled even after we rinsed them out, and ourselves in the shower. It wasn't until we got to another hotel with chlorine in the water, did they stop smelling.

Hotel had friendly, helpful, and nice staff. The lobby was very nice in appearance. Breakfast was average could had been better as juice machine was broken and had only microwave food for eggs and meat. The Breakfast room was located in a expanded hotel room.

Driving through the area looking for hotels to stay during a civil war history tour and found this place perfect for a last minute stop. The staff was super friendly and helped get us a room that fit all our needs. The check in process was quick and friendly. Got a nice room in the corner with a nice view of the full moon and the highway. It was a bit noisy but there was a lot of bikers and teenagers in the area so it was okay considering it was a pit stop. the hotel is old and needs a little tlc but overall it was a good solid place to stay. Bed was comfy, towels were soft and the room was clean all for an affordable price. The staff was perhaps the best part of this stay, friendly service helped make staying here nice.
Was the perfect place for our team

We brought a girls fastpitch team for a tournament and we were treated perfectly by the entire staff. The price paid fit our needs perfectly and the location was spot on. We would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay either alone or with a group.
