As winter turns to spring, March is the perfect time to plan a road trip on one of Maryland’s 18 Scenic Byways. A perfect document for your travels is the Maryland Wine Trail Passport. This month’s featured destinations are the Chesapeake Wine Trail, March 15 – 16 and the Patuxent Wine Trail, March 22 – 23. And, for those who want to hang onto winter a bit longer, there is still plenty of time for snow and slope-side fun at Winterfest, March 15-16, at Wisp Resort in Garrett County.
