Maryland Brewers Oktoberfest
October 10
There will be lots of the best Maryland brews and lots of Oompah bands to enjoy your favorite German drinking songs. You can also enjoy the sausages, potato cakes, sour beef, schnitzel and other great German classics! Other great festival foods will be there, as well.  If the food and the drinks aren’t enough then go to the Main Stage and enjoy the great music.  Also check out a seminar or two about your favorite beer in the tasting theater.

Gaithersburg Oktoberfest at the Kentlands
October 11
The 18th Annual Oktoberfest at the Kentlands, will take place Sunday, October 11, 2009, from noon to 4 p.m. at Kentlands Village Green. Admission and parking are free!  Free wheelchair accessible shuttle service will be available! Amidst horse-drawn hayrides and pumpkin painting, festival goers can enjoy authentic Bavarian food and beer and lively performances by the Alte Kameraden German Band and Alt-Washingtonia Bavarian dancers and much more!
