Maryland Restaurant Weeks and Seafood Festivals
From picking crabs at a table to haute cuisine, Maryland has that and everything in between. Many communities and their local restaurants sponsor a week-long experience so that you can eat to your hearts' content - at a great price.
 

Crabplace.com’s Crab and Cruise Weekend
June 21-22, 2013
Starting Friday, in Crisfield with a food and wine tasting and culminates on Saturday with a cruise on the bay. In between, enjoy an all-you-can-eat crab feast featuring steamed Maryland Blue Crabs.

Tilghman Island Seafood Festival
June 22, 2013
The festival will be held at the Tilghman Vol Fire Dept and adjacent Kronsburg Park on Main Street, Tilghman Island 11AM-6PM. Food to be served includes steamed crabs, crab cakes, fried clams, barbecue chicken, hot dogs, soft crabs, corn on the cob, hamburgers, and french fries, beer and sodas.

The 2013 Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival

Always scheduled for the second Saturday of July.
The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival takes place on the mainland on the lawn of t.he St. Clement's Island Museum. All ticket-holders have the opportunity to arrive early and enjoy a complimentary boat ride - a relaxing cruise around St. Clement's Island State Park from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Ticket holders need only proceed to the St. Clement's Island Museum pier for departure aboard the "North Star," a 46-foot sport fishing boat, U.S. Coast Guard approved to carry 35 passengers.

Held every year on the third Wednesday in July at Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield, this annual celebration is named in honor of Crisfield native, J. Millard Tawes - the 54th Governor of the State of Maryland.
