The Blessing of the Fleet is a religious celebration of Maryland's birthplace, the landmark of St.Clement's Island, and a blessing of the boats, or fleet, as October generally begins the oyster harvesting season in Maryland. Catholic Mass will be held on Sunday.

The annual event will take place at the St. Clement's Island Museum Grounds featuring continuous music, games, crafts, livestock display and petting zoo, classic car show, free boat rides,  and  more!
