A thriving urban district just northwest of Washington, D.C., Bethesda has nearly 200 restaurants, 20 art galleries and some of the best shopping in the area. Plenty of parking is available and it’s easily accessible on the Metro’s Red Line. Bethesda Art Walk features a dozen galleries and artist studios that open their doors on the second Friday evening of every month. Bethesda also has a yearly Literary Festival, a Fine Arts Festival and a summer concert series.
